Shipping & Delivery Policy

At Victoria City Culture, we aim to get your books to you as quickly and safely as possible. Please review our shipping procedures and timelines below.

1. Order Processing Time

  • In-Stock Items: We aim to dispatch orders for in-stock books by the next working day (Monday – Friday) after payment has been cleared.

  • Pre-Order Items: Processing times for pre-orders vary based on supplier availability. Once the pre-order item arrives at our UK facility, it will be dispatched within one working day.

2. Domestic Shipping (UK Mainland)

Our primary delivery partner for the UK Mainland is Yodel, using their Store-to-Door service.

  • Estimated Delivery: 3-4 business days from the date of dispatch.

  • Tracking: All Yodel shipments are fully trackable.

3. Scottish Highlands and Islands

For deliveries to the Scottish Highlands and Islands, we may use Royal Mail or other specialized delivery partners to ensure the most reliable service.

  • Estimated Delivery: 3-4 business days.

  • Tracking: A tracking code from the chosen carrier will be provided once your order has been shipped.

4. Important: Mixed Orders (In-Stock & Pre-Orders)

To minimize our environmental impact and keep shipping costs low for our customers, we operate a single-shipment policy:

  • Consolidated Shipping: If your order contains a mix of "Ready to Ship" items and "Pre-Order" items, we will hold the entire order and ship it once all items are available.

  • Split Shipments: If you require the in-stock items to be delivered immediately, please contact us at contact@victoriacity.co.uk. Please note that an additional shipping fee may apply for split deliveries.

5. Tracking Your Order

Once your package has been handed over to our delivery partner (Yodel or Royal Mail), we will send you a Shipping Confirmation Email containing your tracking number.

  • You can monitor the progress of your delivery directly through the carrier’s website using the link provided.

6. Delivery Delays & Issues

While we strive for accuracy, delivery times are estimates and may be affected by factors outside our control, such as:

  • Extreme weather conditions.

  • Remote location logistics.

  • National holidays or carrier strikes.

If your order has not arrived within 7 business days of receiving your tracking code, please contact us so we can investigate with the carrier.

7. Incorrect Addresses

Please ensure your shipping address is correct at checkout. Victoria City Culture Limited is not responsible for orders delivered to an incorrect address provided by the customer. If a parcel is returned to us due to an incorrect address, the customer will be responsible for the cost of re-delivery.
